Henry -- "Wise Beyond His Ears"

Friends in low places 2 - 1 of 20

Basset Rescue of Puget Sound is a small grass roots Basset Rescue organization in Woodinville, Washington, just north of Seattle.  My friend Alexa is one of the coordinators, and you can visit their website at www.adoptabasset.net .

Alexa says they could sure use the help of volunteers to help walk and socialize with their rescue basset hounds. If anybody is interested in volunteering some time to help care for these dogs while they are seeking adoption, please email Alexa and write "Interested in Volunteering for BRPS" in the subject box.

While we are at BRPS, please meet Henry. Henry's mother is my Charlee, so Henry is my "grand-dog." This guy is one of the most amazing Basset Hound personalities I've ever met !  A permanent fixture in his own home, Henry lives with the rescue bassets and enjoys playing and socializing with them all. He has a fun and playful spirit, is affectionate and a bit of a clown at times. Henry's humans like to say he is "wise beyond his ears."
